Runs big

I ordered this skirt based on the size chart. I measured my waist and then ordered the large because that’s what my waist measurement was. When the skirt came, I can’t even keep it up. It’s so huge. I’m 5 feet 5 inches and 110 pounds. I always wear size 2, and I should’ve known better. Anyways, it can’t be returned. I’m going to guess that you really need to be up around size 10 to order this skirt in large. But it is a super cute summer skirt. It’s a lightweight cotton and it washed nice. I washed and dried it to try and shrink it, and it barely shrank at all.
