LOVE THE SHOES
But I wore these shoes less than 5 times the strap broke already
Great shoes for me
I am a teacher and bought these shoes in cream as soon as spring had sprung. I have worn them almost every day since and they are perfect for me. Being on my feet all day and running around, I can say that they have good support. If flat shoes shoes don't have enough support, my legs ache by the end of the day. Fact: My legs and feet feel great. I have a difficult time finding shoes because I am really between and 8 and 81/2 and have a wide foot and a bunion on my right foot. The size 8 fits me so well that I have ordered a second pair. However, if they work for me, they might not work for someone with a narrow foot. Also, I injured my left ankle last year and have not yet been able to get back into heels. These shoes provide good support for my ankle. They have drawn compliments from young and old alike.
runs short
These are so cute and the blush tone is right on trend! I own other Born sandals, as well as a riding boot, and love the quality and comfort. Surprising, my heel hung over the back of these sandals even though the fit was perfect everywhere else. The foot bed was obviously cut shorter than a size 9, which is what I wear in all shoes. I have a narrow foot, so exchanging for a 10 would be ridiculous. Bye bye sale price and great spring look.
Very cute, but sizing off
These are very cute shoes. Really cute and comfortable. BUT the sizing is terrible. I ordered a size 7 which is my normal size 95% of the time. The 7 was too big and too loose. Not just the shoe part, but the ankle straps and everything gapped from being too big. So I ordered the 6 which fit much better on my foot and ankle, except my heel comes right to the back edge of the shoe and hangs over just a pinch. Maybe a millimeter, but that is a major pet peeve of mine. The 6 is going back. They are so cute I really want to keep the 7, but at this price, they need to fit well. It is odd that from the size 6 to size 7 there is such a drastic size jump. Not so much in the shoe, but the ankle. Someone who wears a 7 isn't necessarily going to have ankles/legs twice the size of someone wearing a size 6. I actually ordered them from another site in the grey color, but was just looking at the black ones on Macys.com because they are on sale. For a sale price, I might consider the less than stellar fit.
