NIce looking but quality lacking
I like the look of this lamp, nicely finished and good light quality and it is sturdy. However, the cam locks for adjustments are of poor quality. I just set it up and already I can see that they do not lock securely. It takes a lot of pressure to make them set in position. I feel that over time this will become an issue. Not sure how to alleviate this problem, maybe o rings.

This lamp may help me with seasonal affective disorder
I had a bit of trouble putting this lamp together, but once it is done, it looks like a high quality lamp. I need good light so that iI can knit on a cloudy day. With the help of a nurse, I was able to put it together myself.

A lamp for horticulture
I force flower bulbs to bloom indoors in the fall and winter months for my own enjoyment. Having replaced my house's windows, I discovered that the flower bulbs would not grown and bloom because the necessary UV spectrum rays were now blocked by the new windows. I needed a fully adjustable floor lamp that would accommodate a large horticulture bulb shaped grow light and this one's size, adjustability and beauty fits the bill. (It has taken me ages to figure out that an ugly industrial ceiling hanging horticulture grow lamp fixture is not the only solution, nor are those horrible dangling round metal contraptions with clamps. I truly am looking forward to many years enjoyment with this beauty of a lamp.
