I first ordered these in a size 8.5 medium and they were too small, tight across the toes - bunion, and stiff. Then I ordered a size 9 and they were still narrow and the leather was very stiff and hard. Sometime when I buy a size up the larger size fit good. I loved the style of the shoes and these were the type of booties I was looking for in color and style.
Outdoor casual look
These were comfortable at the first try on and I liked the color, but I decided the look was more outdoor casual than what I wanted at this time, so I returned them. When I returned them to the store (instead of by mail as I got them), the clerk looked at them and exclaimed that was what she was looking for.
Chunky but comfy
A bit wide looking, like a chuka boot, but still cute and comfy. Tried it sockless, but the top in the back rubbed against my ankle. Better with sock, but still can feel it. Maybe with time it would soften up. Found similar style in another brand that fit perfect and had a slimmer style, so will not keep these. Very well made, though. And cute.
Uncomfortable
I've worn Clarks before and always found them to be comfortable. Totally different story here. The heel was so stiff and hard I thought I forgot to take out a piece of cardboard. There was no way they were going to soften up, so back they went. Bummer too, as they were nice looking and exactly what I wanted.

Odd boot
I was so excited when these arrived. Love the leather and the look. But. The back of the shoe comes up pretty high and is very narrow at the opening, so unless you have super thin legs, these are likely to bind. The leather is stiff enough that it won't break it, so these had to go back.
My #1 purchase this year...and it's almost the end of the year!!
Amazing fit, amazing feel and they make me look cute!!
