A nice solid table but water spots

We bought this table a month back. The set looks very elegant. Although upon using it for a few days we noticed water spots on the marble. Even a small spill will get absorbed into the marble. Not very happy with that aspect. We have covered the table with table cloth. We have another marble table but it does not have this problem even if any liquid spills on it.

Nice table

This table is nice and sturdy. It looks just like the pictures. It was easy to put together also. No power tools needed. The base is about 86lbs. The top is thick.
