I was looking for a table that would be able to seat 10, and it does with the leaf in. I saw this table in the store, sat at it and loved the color, style and how sturdy it was. And the price! It arrived a few days ago, just in time for Thanksgiving! It looks great with our black chairs. My husband and I love it!

Nothing like the photos. It’s so ugly.
Almost false advertising. No where does this table Say it’s made with veneer. The description clearly says white oak. Yes, the legs are. In the photos (on multiple monitors) are clearly a bright light wood. In reality it’s an ugly orange brown color with a fake pressed wood grain on the surface- which is exactly what I didn’t want. Not having a smooth top makes homework and cleaning the table hard. Overall, it’s a gigantic disappointment and it’s heavy so dragging it to return is going to be difficult. At the very least find this is storytelling and make sure you like the totally out of style orange brown finish and fake wood top.

Buyer be ware
I purchased this table for my daughter a little under two years ago and the top is peeling. We purchased the worry no more warranty and have been fighting with both them and Macy's to replace the table. Buyer beware when purchasing the worry no more warranty, since they do not cover this issue and have told me that this is a Macy's warranty problem. We did not realize that the tabletop was covered in veneer, since the desperation says it is wood, otherwise we may not have purchased it. I am hoping that Macy's does the right thing and gives us a new table.
