Gorgeous but big

My husband got me the ring for Mother's Day. I'm a size 7 on my right hand on the finger I wear right handed rings on. This ring is def bigger than a 7. I'm scared it will come off. I love it so I'm trying to get it sized but I don't know how that will work with the mesh band.
