Much lighter green emeralds than expected

I was disappointed with the color of the Emeralds. What looked like bright green emeralds were actually much, much lighter in color. As a result, the ring isn’t “the wow” it should be as presented. I discussed with the associate at the store but apparently, that seems to be all they could do. Disappointing given the cost. I would not have purchased.

Emerald color not as pictured

I received this ring as a gift and the emeralds are very pale green. When asked about the color the individual at the store apparently said "that is how this comes". Emeralds indeed come in a variety of colors, but these lab created emeralds do not have the classic dark geen color. Instead it was grass green. When ordering gemstones online, it is important to know that the colors very likely will not be as they appear.
