Use the chopping/mixing blade to coarsely chop, finely mince, mix, or puree food to a smooth consistency. Slice, julienne, or shred with the reversible slicing/shredding disc. The clear food pusher has easy-to-read measurement marks for pouring liquids right through the chute. It's simple to operate; just rotate the knob conveniently located on top of the base and the processor will run continuously. For instant on/off control, use the Pulse setting. In-bowl blade storage keeps things tidy when not in use. All removable parts are dishwasher safe, so cleanup is easy. Great machine
Although I left a five star rating, I am actually leaving this due to the fact that the one I bought 25 plus years ago finally “died” on me today. I loved using this processor so much and am delighted to find one (newly updated). I just hope this one works as well. I had also bought the older model for two of my daughters.

NOT dishwasher safe
The food processor works as intended. It processes food like a beast! HOWEVER, after using it the other night, wife and I were cleaning the kitchen and placed the bowl in the dishwasher, as it is listed as dishwasher safe, and now the rim of the bowl has melted enough so that the cover will not fit.

Simple and easy to use
This is the first time electric food processor for me! I used it to chop up homemade dog food and it did not disappoint. It took the turkey roll, green beans, and eggs and mixed and chopped them into perfection. It’s easy to use for the most part, putting it together was a breeze, I’ve only used the chopping blade so not sure how well the grater works. Chopping and pulsing worked great. I did have a hard time getting the bowl off the base, I suppose that will take some getting use to. Overall a quality product and I will use this frequently for chopping up meat for the dogs!

EASILY FITS UNDER PAPER TOWEL DISPENSER
It sits underneath a triple-size roll of paper towels on a dispenser mounted under the standard height upper cabinets with room to spare! I only had to put the roll on so that the paper towels hang off of the front rather than the rear. Its bowl has a full-size 8-cup capacity. The white is clean-looking. One side of the disc slices or the other side coarsely grates. It's perfect for parmesan. It withstands sanitizing steam in the top rack of the dishwasher, but I do not ever use the dryer cycle.
