The Henckels International Silvercap 7" Hollow Edge Santoku Knife is perfect for detailed kitchen tasks. Thanks to its handy micro-serrated edge, the blade never needs to be sharpened. Santoku - Japanese for "three virtues" - excels at three cutting techniques. Expertly mince garlic, slice cucumber, and dice onions with this Asian all-rounder, whose hollow edge blade has small indentations, aka grantons, which prevent food from sticking while cutting. The knives offer single-piece, precision-stamped construction for long-lasting durability. Fabricated from superior stainless steel, the lightweight knives are easy to maneuver. The traditional, triple-riveted handle provides balance and comfort as you chop.

A CUT Ahead.

Have had this knife for 8 plus years. It is easy to throw a sharper edge on it with the steel. I cannot begin to estimate the number of times I have used it For me it is better for slicing fruits and vegetables rather than meat. I especially like to ribbon slice root vegetables with it.

I don’t like this knife!!!

This brand of Henkel knives are not the Henkels I know. The finish is some type of none sharpening finish which make it difficult to cut or slice food with straight percission. I’m sorry I purchased this knife, a total waste of money.
