Pleased with Kellet

Beautiful piece of furniture. It’s not a monstrosity in the room like most and is extremely comfortable. The sides and arm rests take up less space so it looks more in proportion with the rest of the furniture in the room. The headrest is supportive yet soft. The leg rest lifts to a high position. it was told it was top grain leather anywhere skin touches. I’m just not so sure about that. I’m not even certain the leather is made from a hide. It looks and feels more like a vegan leather. I hope I’m wrong for it won’t hold up as well or as long if that’s the case. Since it was created by Macy’s no brochures or information was sent with the piece. One has to depend entirely upon word of mouth which makes it questionable. Employees may be uninformed. It’s supposed to have springs in the seat so hopefully it remains secure.and holds up. It feels like it may have a lot of give. The foam was described as dense rather than low or high so questions remain.. Looks won out. Time will tell.

Keller power recliner

Kellet power recliner The recliner has a nice feeling leather and feels solid. The head rest is a bit hard. And note that it does NOT recline very far back and your feet do not come up past parallel with the floor. For a short nap, it is ok though I bought it after a neck surgery, and I have used it to sleep in which I would not recommend. For sleeping it would need to recline further and lift one’s feet further. Now, as for Macy’s DELIVERY service, it is definitely not as described on the site. They call it a white glove service with Shoe coverings when entering the home. The delivery guys did not have shoe coverings as well as dirty hands on the white ivory leather. They also left puddles of water from the box that they opened in my living room floor on the hardwood and debris from the packing materials. I had just had neck surgery and could not get down to clean all of that up. Overall, the chair itself is moderately comfortable and seems to be decent quality.

My husband is 6'4, & has very bad knees. He needed a new chair with a higher seat, making it easier to stand. This chair fit his requirements.
