Great features

I bought this two weeks ago for my granddaughter and she absolutely loves this!! She’s made cookies, bread and butter!! It kneaded the dough for bread and mixed and whipped to make butter. It can do a large capacity or small. Just perfect!

Solid but accessories aren’t great

nothing fabulous

Great colors, but otherwise no better than the older tilt-head version and upgrading to 5 quart vs previous 4.5 is absolutely no different for actual capacity. My coated flat beater is chipping after one use

Just The Right Size!

My late husband and I purchased the full-size version a few years ago...and never used it. It was so BIG it was overwhelming instead of being helpful. This small size (for just 1 person now) is perfect!

Artisan® Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer

I love my Kitchenaid stand mixer. I've always wanted one and decided now was the time. I don't know how I cooked without it. I use it for cookie dough instead of stirring by hand. My cookies are so much better. I use it to shred chicken, rather than using two meat forks. Perfect every time. This mixer has simplified my cooking and baking life!

Disappointed

I like my machine but need to get used to it. It is slower on speed 5 than I expected but it gets the job done. It’s difficult for me to pop the beaters out and then they fly into the batter. So that takes planning. All in all I wish I had bought the the 9 speed mixer.
