Scratch’s and indent
Mixer came packed in kitchen aid box and macys box, since I ordered more items I guess. It was a new years gift for mom. We opened it today and there are scratches and indent on it! Does Macys sell refurbished items now??? Returning and ordering directly from kitchenaid! Otherwise the size of this model is much better than the original one. More than enough to make dough, creams etc
Knead more options for the mini
I’m waiting for my 3.5 quart tilt mini stand mixer. I’m really disappointed because it doesn’t appear you have many bowl options and the pastry paddle also would be nice for the mini. There is quite a few options for the full size models, but not the mini.

Great for liveaboard cooking!
I purchased this for our small galley on our motoryacht. We are liveaboards and I had to give up my kitchenaid mixer when we moved aboard 5 years ago...or I thought so! I found this and ordered it and couldn't be happier! It actually has a space on my small galley counter. I'm in heaven!

Wendy’s new toy.
Have had my matte black mixer for a month or so now , and I am really enjoying getting to know how to use it. It lives on the bench in my white pantry and looks great , works well and has been a talking point with my family. Love it.

Just the right size
This smaller mixer is just the right size for my small space. I've seen a few small stand mixers from other brands but was leery about trying them. When I saw this Kitchen Aid 3.5 quart stand mixer I knew it was the right one for me. It's a brand I know and trust plus all the Kitchen Aid attachments will work with this smaller mixer and it fits perfectly in my small kitchen.

The attachment doesn't seem to fit the bowl
The thing works great. But the size isn't great. The attachment it comes with doesn't reach the bottom of the bowl. So when it stirs, the stuff on the bottom doesn't get stirred. You have to stir it manually to really get it. This is only an issue with the mini, not with the full size.
Fabulous mixer
This is a well made, quality piece of equipment that I absolutely love! How have I lived so long without it? The 3.5L mini mixer is a perfect size for hubby and I.

Small
Does this small mixer have the ability to have the ice cream attachment work? Difficult to find an extra bowl and attachments for this mini mixer! Had to go to the kitchen aid site. This one is quite small. Prefer the hand raised model 5 quart mixer to this tilt head style. It can do more! Only recommend if you are expecting a quite small mixer.
