Texture of colors vary

Previously bought one in gray and love the feel and texture but it's waaaayy to big.I typically wear a 1 or 2x. Since I liked it so much I ordered another in green size large (!) and it fit perfectly but the texture was not the same. Not thick brushed, just regular tee material...
