The quality and appearance of this mattress, I would recommend. However, it is entirely too firm for side sleepers. After 45 days or so, the pain in my hips and lower back was awful. It just does not give at all to allow for proper spine alignment of side sleepers. I had to return this mattress and lose the restocking and delivery fees.

Well the bed is firm, and its much lower profile than expected. My first night on it was painful. So I'd advise trying it with a mattress topper, perhaps memory foam. I am going to give it a week or two to see if I adjust, if not it is going back. Not impressed yet....
Terrible Mattress
I tested this mattress in store, and placed my order online... and then I am here writing my review 5 am in the first morning sleeping on it because I couldn’t fall asleep anymore. It feels weird, but the product I receive is very different from the one I tried in store. The store told me this mattress is cushion firm, the name indicates it is firm, but what I received... is a brick. Even with a plush mattress protector, I can tell it doesn’t adjust to my body pressure AT ALL. My waist and neck are both floating in the air, and my butt and shoulder are squeezed. Now as I write this review on the bed, there is a song from Tylor Swift sings in my mind: I am lying on the cool hard ground Ah! Ah! Ah! Trouble... Trouble...Trouble... In the end, I just read through Macy’s return policy in my order confirmation , the content of which is not clearly stated in the shopping page : if you need a return, there is a $85 pick up fee, and another return fee cost 15% of the mattress price. So do place your order with caution.

So happy with this bed
I had a Laura Ashley pillow top that was about 7 years old- not old, right?- but it had dents and craters from where I slept (and I'm not a huge person). I also was diagnosed a few years ago with sciatica, and I was told a soft mattress like that one was terrible for it. I finally got around to getting this and it's a game changer. I feel so much better every morning- I also didn't realize how awful the old mattress was until I experienced this one. Such a great purchase.
