DO NOT BUY:Cheap thin veneer buckles in 2 months.

Within 2 months veneer on this table began to bubble and tear and it is spreading. Completely defective and cannot be repaired. in all my years of buying and using furniture, this is new. The veneer looks like plastic or even very thin paper and the table is not usable. I asked Macys to return or exchange because furniture usually has 1 year warranty. But in small print, furniture sent directly from vendors is only warranted for 30 days—ridiculous for large purchases. After being offered 100 dollars I asked for a supervisor who gave me more, which I had to accept. I will NEVER buy anything from Macys again, since being a customer when my mother shopped at Macys in NYC during the 50s and 60s.
