1. Delivered something that wasn’t defective. 2. Have a replacement sent out. 3. Not made me wait another 2 months for an inspector to come out to confirm that the nightstand was actually defective.

We are not impressed with the veneer that scratches off very easily. Our bed is less than a year old and has a lot of scratches on the headboard and side table from just regular use. Poor quality

This is simply stunning the foto doesnt do it justice the top two drawers are felt lined the corners are dovetail joined and the bottom drawer is cedar. Perfect Height, Width & Depth. Very Happy with this and it was on sale - SCORE !

Similar to a bed I was stalking at a high end furnishing home store but at over half off the price. I compared both beds before purchasing and this there was not a noticeable difference. The quality of this bed is amazing. It has by exceeded our expectations in function and style. The wood veneer color is rich and the fabric is a beautiful, warm color.

The off-gassing is so horrible from this furniture. We have had for 1 week my husband has yet to sleep in our bedroom. I ended up having an allergic reaction, that made my face so swollen I had to go to an urgent care. No matter what we do we can't get rid of the smell. Windows have been opened, bowl of vinegar, bowl of baking soda, spray down with water vinegar mixture. Just awful. I will be calling Macys.

I figure the best way to review this purchase is with a simple “pro” and “con” list based off my personal opinion.... so here goes. PRO’s: Very stylish set. Looks gorgeous in the room and getting a lot of compliments from friends. The drawers extend all the way out and utilize the space well. They’re spacious and glide nice. The bottom drawer has a cedar bottom and there is a 2 port USB outlet on the back edge of the nightstands which is super handy. The Macy’s white glove delivery and set up was great, no complaints. CON’s: While the set LOOKS great and almost like wood, it’s not. The finish and wood grain is a sort of resin/plastic and has a plastic-ish feel to it. The mocha finish is just sprayed on, the color is not through. I know this because when the installer moved the mattress on the bed he pulled it over the footboard which literally erased the finish right off revealing the resin/plastic material underneath. He then used a wide felt tipped mocha colored pen to “fix” it.

Pro's: Very stylish. Lots of positive comments from friends. Macy's white glove delivery was quick, neat, and highly professional. Con's: Its NOT real wood finish, its an odd resin-ish woodgrain material and color over a mix of wood and MDF (particle board). The finish has a resin/plastic feel to it. The mocha color is merely painted on. When the installers moved the mattress into place, they literally rubbed the dark brown mocha finish off revealing the plastic underneath. They were able to repair it on the spot with a magic marker felt pen. Summary: Over-all I like the look of the set, but really not sure it will hold up over the years. I guess I DO recommend it as long as you get it on sale for a good price and treat it very carefully.
