Does what suppose to

I have had no issues. Using at bottom of stairs so dog doesn't go upstairs when I am not in there.

Good price

Giving 4 stars for the price, but it is very lightweight and can be easily moved or knocked over if your dog jumps up on it. luckily mine don't test the gate and stay behind it.
