Hinges open smooth, nice look and feel with plenty of storage for a smaller ottoman. Some reviews mention that the screws for the feet are too long. This was nit my experience as long as you follow the instructions

Love the storage space. We left the feet off so it would sit a little bit lower. We’re very happy with its looks.

Good quality

Great bench-easy to assemble
Looks very nice for fake leather. Legs were easy to attach. Very sturdy - looks nice at the foot of our bed. Great storage and nice lid.
