What I was looking for...

I have been looking for a mug warmer and I thought the safest way is something which uses induction tehcnology. There are some mug warmers which do this by detecting weight on the warmer, but I thought that might be dangerous. My main use for this is for my 93 year old mom who can be careless and forgetful at times. While 131F is not piping hot, it's still better than having something sit around and become luke warm. This one seems to work the best for what I was looking for. Some other pluses include: - Keeps drink warm for 10 hours - Doubles as a wireless charger Some areas lacking: - Looks like it is not waterproof which is not good for something where you want to keep warm drinks on - It would be nice if they could offer additional mugs perhaps with other designs - Mugs are not machine washable - Mugs cannot be placed in microwave though expected since it is using metal in the mug to activate the warmer - Does not come with charger. You need one supports at least 15 watts.

Important before buying

The coffee warmer only works with the supplied mug. The supplied mug is not dishwasher safe (handwash only) nor is it microwave safe. The wireless charging works, but the warming function does not unless you perfectly place the mug on the warmer, very finicky. There is no on/off button, it just shows flashing lights, I assume no on/off button because the warmer is supposed to work only once you place the mug on it. Overall, great idea, but poor execution. I wish the product details would have pointed out the details on the supplied mug as I would not have bought it otherwise. I will need to return it.
