Great casual set of placemats

I like the fun animal designs, all different, entertaining for children and adults alike, makes you smile. Casual. Easy to clean. Cork lined and protects the table. I am on my second set, the first one lasted for about two years of everyday heavy use and was starting to show some wear around the edges.

These are so cute. Great on the kitchen table in the spring and summer. I am really looking to put them back out.

Cute but terrible odor

These are very cute and seem to be well made. However, there was a terrible chemical odor coming from (I assume) some kind of coating on the cork underside. I have wiped them down which didn't help. So I stacked them with dryer sheets between them, and then I sprayed them lightly with Febreeze. It helped but if it does not improve I must return.
