Chair is unstable and unsafe.

While the chair is attractive the depth of the seat is shallow and the base is unstable. It is in my opinion an unsafe stool except when it is fully lowered. This makes it unsuitable and unsafe for a counter or bar height usage. I am returning them.

Great stools

This red is more on the orange side but was a perfect match for my kitchen. The stools are quite comfortable and they were easy to assemble. Very easy to clean by just wiping them off. I’d recommend this item.
