This is a smart and charming trash can, but it arrived with three dents in the lid. I'd recommend buying from a store instead of having it shipped. Disappointed in the handling but otherwise quite pleased with the purchase.

Love the red color
We love our new red trash can, our only wish is that the size was a little bigger in the red. But other than that it has been great.

Could be better
I love simple human cans! I bought a flat-top white one years ago for my massage business restroom and it's still going strong! I've recently expanded my business and needed another white can for the second restroom. So, I go to the simple human website to purchase another, only to be dismayed that they no longer sell the flat-top white cans! I had to purchase this "retro-can" with the round top. I cannot place it against the wall in the restroom because every time I hit the peddle it slams into the wall and it's loud. So, it's sitting away from the wall and taking up too much space. I have to keep it but I'm not impressed with what i need to use it for! Please bring back the flat-top white can!!

Just the Pick-Me-Up My Kitchen Needed
No need to hide this attractive container for trash under the sink! Although smaller than we had imagined, it's craftsmanship, durable materials, and ease of use (love the quiet, self-close lid) are exactly as we had sought. The stainless steel handles and step pedal are a nice addition, but the pedal scratches easily; however, after having had this can for just over one month, I've finally stopped insisting that my husband take off his shoes before opening the can with the pedal! Ordered a supply of bags, as well. Good quality and perfect fit.

Love...love...love
Yes you can love a garbage can! This garbage can is lovely to the eye, seals great with no open spaces in the back, easy to put garbage bags ( does not have to be its name brand) and top quietly falls back! Got sliver for myself and red for my sister! Nice retro look.
Great can with pricey bags
Love the can. Only simple human bags work for best results. Bags are expensive.
