- Feed your garden and store compost scraps easily and efficiently with the odor minimizing stainless steel compost caddy. It attaches to a magnetic dock that hangs at the side of your rectangular or slim liner rim simplehuman trash can or you can detach it for use on your kitchen counter. The soft-seal lid allows food scraps to breathe, keeping odor under control and pests away. The plastic inner bucket is removable so it's easy to dump out scraps or clean. The caddy's stainless steel surface is protected by an invisible fingerprint-resistance coating that is also infused with Agion, an EPA-registered disinfectant that inhibits the growth of bacteria, fungi, mold and mildew. A 30-pack of code Z custom fit disposable liners are included, the liners fit the caddy perfectly and can be thrown out along with your food scraps since they decompose fully.

Design Fault
Opening the cover, you can easily find a crease at the edge of the caddy. If the food residue is spilt there, you can hardly clean them effectively. It should not be designed this way. Disappointed, thus I returned it.

I like the design of
I like the design of the caddy. The lid design keeps the odours in which is good. I sought it thinking it would hang on the side of my existing simplehuman kitchen bin. It doesn’t. Having said that, my bin kitchen bin is over 10 years old which is a testament to simplehuman build quality.

Makes trash chic
We have been mandated to add compost to our trash. This little compost bin attaches perfectly to our other Simple Human double bin. It keeps our receptacles tidy. It’s perfect.

Simply Amazing!
Crazy to get excited about a garbage can and compost caddy…. but I am! This is a great addition to my Simplehuman Dual Compartment Trash Can! Attached on the side and has compostable bags to fit! Great for my coffee grounds, eggshells, anything compostable. Took me a long time to pull the pin and purchase as a pricey purchase but worth every cent! Most amazing garbage can and compost caddy.

Good
The bin is good, but the Code Z bags do not fit without tearing, and hanging the organic waste bin from side of the normal bin needs them to have a very thin edge which is not the case for all the bins

Sturdy and compact
The caddy is small and very well made. The compostable liners are much stronger than other products I have purchased. I do wish the hanging system worked on my older Simplehuman trash can. Overall 5 stars!
