Wanted to love it

I agree with the previous reviewers. When we first purchased the table it was gorgeous. But then after only a year or two of occasional use, it started peeling and looking really weathered (in a bad way). We're now on year 3 and it's slowly getting worse. Wish we purchased the extended warranty.

Overall lovely table and pleased customer

Unlike the other reviewer, I've had no major issues with the table. The delivery people showed up in the scheduled window of time. They initially screwed the pedestals in the wrong way, but corrected their mistake. Once put together, it is sturdy, level, and stable on a wooden floor. I've had the table for 6 months now and I am pleased. It is a soft wood, so it is prone to dents in the wood and chips in the stain/finish. The table has already acquired a few of both, but they don't look terrible b/c there are just a few and it's rustic. It has a matte finish, so you can't polish it with typical furniture polishes. It isn't used as our everyday table, so it doesn't get much wear and tear. I'm not convinced it would hold up well for everyday use. The finish is VERY gray with hints of brown tones. I was expecting a weathered driftwood look, but it is more of a weathered gray stain. It's still lovely, it's just that the photo inaccurately shows more brown tones than the gray it really has.

Very disappointed in the Customer service.

I should of know that if it took multiple delivery attempts due the pieces being Damaged, I couldn%u2019t have expected a great experience. I have attempted reaching out to the customer service department and provided them with multiple photos of the quality issues. The table seemed flawed upon arrival almost as through it has been excessively sanded in certain areas and I was assured this was normal. The finish has started to peel in those areas on both the table and the bench and I can%u2019t even get w representive to respond to the multiple emails I have sent. Not what I would have expected from Macy%u2019s.
