I do love the machine! I gave a four - should add in a chopper size of the grinder with the same cover/lid.

Need better design
I bought it a few weeks ago. Not happy with design for smoothie maker container. Very hard to clean and it has started getting mold already.

They have made great design but quality is bad. It has been only two years and motor is already have burning smell.

Works as good as we thought it would. I have never been let down by a Ninja product yet. Next thing is the coffee maker, the pods one.

Almost perfect...
My last ninja system lasted 13 years with almost daily use. It finally died and I convinced myself to upgrade to this one because of the bigger cups (renders all my other ones useless because the opening is much larger). Anyways, 3 months in and my smoothie smelled weird yesterday and today. I always wash the threads with a straw brush but today noticed that was a bunch of junk built up in/under the gasket/o-ring. I took it out and it was disgusting and smelled awful. I never once had this problem with the previous version. Replacements aren't listed on this site and difficult to find elsewhere with so many product different product IDs.

Doesn't work as a food processor
I needed a food processor to help with food prep (due to health issues, I cannot chop food by hand right now). I loved the idea of a food processor and blender in one. It seemed like a great way to have everything I needed, save space by having fewer appliances, etc. However, this definitely doesn't do well as a food processor. The chopping function works inconsistently - chopping food way too small overall, but leaving giant chunks untouched. And it would be nice if the slicer had different thicknesses to choose from - it slices super thin, and sometimes that just isn't what you want. This is also specifically made for right-handed people, but the description doesn't tell you that! The pitcher can only be placed on the base with the handle on the right, so you have to lock it in and remove it with your right hand. The base also has suction cups on the bottom, which is also not mentioned in the description, so if you don't want to ruin your counter tops, you need to buy a mat to put it on.
