Looks beautiful cheap quality

So excited to buy a new comforter for our anniversary and searched for a long time for the perfect NAVY colored set to replaced our older one. Previously, owned a Ralph Lauren comforter and loved it so thought I would spend the money to get another. After washing it before we used it, discovered there was a tear on the flower side. Waited to use it until I sewed the comforter. Found a second tear on the same side! EXTREMELY disappointed in the quality.

Nice weight... but not as soft as I expected

Bought this to replace a RL comforter set that had worn out after 18 years of use. That one had a more silky feel, but was also much thinner fabric and was starting to rip when pulling the comforter while making the bed. This set has plenty of filling, and certainly feels like it will provide lots of warmth in the winter. I was surprised that the fabric wasn't softer to the touch - it's more coarse/rougher than what I expected - but I think this heavier fabric will lend to an extended lifetime. Overall, very happy with this purchase - looks exactly like the pictures, and exceptional value at 50% off.
