Dear Macy’s Customer Service, I’m writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent online order I placed. While the product itself arrived in good condition and met expectations, I paid extra for the gift wrap service, and unfortunately, the item arrived without any wrapping at all. To make matters worse, the attached tag read “Happy Mother’s Day,” which was confusing and completely inappropriate, as this gift was meant to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my wife. This mistake diminished the surprise and sentiment I had intended. I’m truly frustrated by this experience, especially after taking the time to select the gift wrap option and pay for it. It’s disheartening to see such a lack of attention to detail from a retailer I’ve trusted for years. Please advise on how this will be addressed. I’d like to know what action will be taken to make this right—whether that includes a refund for the gift wrap service, a replacement tag, or some form of goodwill gesture.
