FREEZES ME OUT!
This thing is quiet and will freeze you out . I had a bit of trouble installing it and would recommend a second person to help. It seems to cool the room in a pretty good amount of time so that's probably good for my power bill . Overall for the value I think it's an effective bedroom unit for the price.

Not the quality I’m used to from LG
I had really high hopes for this LG air conditioner after living in South Korea years ago and having wonderful appliances from them while there. This was not one of those appliances. The screw holes are not straight for the guard on top, which makes it impossible to install and seal it correctly. The diverter on the front was installed incorrectly and rendered unusable. This unit also requires you to screw into your windowsill and window frame to be installed “correctly.” If you have a windowsill made of a material that cannot be screwed into, I guess you’re out of luck as alternative installation options are not provided. It does cool the air very well for how small it is, and if your window is the perfect size/material/shape for the unit you’ll probably love it (as long as yours is constructed correctly). If this product hasn’t been gratis, it would be going back, but as such, it will work as an emergency option for hurricane season.

Small and mighty
This is definitely a small hint designed for a small room! And I mean SMALL. but it does a good job cooling off a room and is fairly quiet. I didn’t love the “panels” that fill the rest of the window…. They have space that allows outside air/ BUGS to get in…. So make sure you have some insulation and tape! Overall it helps cool the room which is exactly what we need in this summer heat!

Easy to install
The LG 5000 BTU 115V is a convenient and effective air conditioner unit that is very easy to install and lightweight. The noise level is quieter than the one we had . This unit is perfect for our small summer bedroom. Keep us cool.

Good small single-room a/c
I was sent this LG A/C for my honest review. I didn't install this in a window, but sat it on a small table in my garage to test it out. For this reason, it was a bit noisy. I'm sure it will be no worse than other small units once it's installed properly. It comes with the kit to cover the side spaces when installed in a window. It is a nice, basic room a/c. It cooled off quite quickly when I started it up. It is rated for 450 sq ft, and I don't think it will have any problem cooling that size area. This a/c will be used for my grandson's bedroom in a home where the central air just doesn't quite reach his room. So it will be used as supplementary and will be just fine in that capacity.

Good for small rooms

Very Quiet and Easy to Install
My brother is a disabled veteran and I put this in his bedroom window. The installation was easy and did not take but a few minutes to setup. Very spacious. Fits in his window perfectly and started cooling within seconds of turning it on. Within five minutes the temperature of his room had cooled to the desired temperature. I cannot hear this air unit in any other room of the house. It has a very soft sound almost like a little purr. We absolutely love this ac unit. I was actually going to have to replace his other one this summer and this came in at the right time and saved us. I am so grateful for this and so is my brother. I wanted to post the rest of the pictures and video but unfortunately I was having trouble uploading more than one.

Faulty from the start
Bought this unit 2 days ago. Already short cycling without cooling the room. The compressor kicks on for about 1 minutes before shutting off for 10. I'm going to return the one I have and try to find a different unit, but this is incredibly frustrating.
