Duplicitous Advertising

According to the assembly instructions, this is not a freestanding umbrella base. It needs to be used in conjunction with a table that can hold an umbrella. It would have been nice to know this BEFORE ordering, since what we needed is a free-standing umbrella stand. Yet nowhere in the product description online does it say or illustrate this fact.
