cheap zipper

I have not used this vest too much because of our beautiful weather, and after I wore that a couple of times the zipper does not work anymore.

Or is that because I bought it in the color "winter white?" At 5 feet tall and 100 lbs., I bought it in size extra small and the fit and length are perfect even on this petite frame. It is ultra light, but still perfect for 3 seasons. I love it!
