Has the formula been changed....

Received my new mascara (have been using for years) and after using it for a few days I checked to see if I'd ordered the wrong product. I use to love their mascara. HOWEVER, this mascara is sooooo clumpy, actually flakes off my eyelashes, makes my lashes look like they have chunks of black tar on them. In addition, when it comes time to fully remove the mascara, the remainder (what hasn't flaked off) is stuck on like glue. I'll definitely never order it again and am actually wondering if the formula has changed.
