Third time is a charm
I bought the S55TR because it said it was wireless soundbar and woofer was wireless rear speakers are not wireless so I returned it . So I bought the S70TY it’s wireless but I didn’t like the sound and it doesn’t come with rear speakers you would have to purchase them. So I returned it. Which brings me to S80 TR this unit is totally wireless. It fits my price range and loving it. I’m definitely going to mount the soundbar to wall. Definitely would recommend

S80TR
I bought this a few weeks back and I had the system running without the rear speakers. it was good. However, after installing the rear speakers the sound was amazing. Really sound.

Great dolby atmos system
Very Happy with my purchase of the lg S80TR 5.1.3 dolby atmos surround sound system. Paired with the LG C5, truly gives a new dimension to the movie watching experience. Plus got it dor a very good sale price. Highly recommended!

Poor Bass/Low End Performance
I purchased this soundbar setup in late 2024. It seems like it would be great, and the hardware is capable; however, LG has crippled this system with poor bass and low-end performance from the subwoofer. When you perform the AI Room Calibration, you can hear the full power of the subwoofer; however, that is the ONLY time you will hear any kind of decent sound from the subwoofer. I have since replaced the S80TR with another product with proper bass and low-end performance from the subwoofer of that system. I did reach out to LG in an attempt to try and salvage my ownership of the S80TR; however, there was no help or real interest in assisting me by anyone at LG. The most I received was a canned email that indicated they did not even understand or pay attention to what I was attempting to bring to their attention, and it was sent from a donotreply@lg email address, which meant I couldn't even respond. Unfortunately, this sealed the deal on the S80TR being replaced by another product that performs properly. The LG S80TR could easily be a really good audio system with the simple firmware/programming fixes to the bass and low end performance in the subwoofer, and or the LG ThinQ App being updated to give users more manual control over the sound performance.

Subwoofer potential being not utilised( update )
It’s excellent for its surround sound and clear voice but, subwoofer is of no use until theres any firmware update in future that allow us to crank its volume separately, master volume level around 9-11 is loud enough but subwoofer fails to perform on lower volume level and if we increase the volume higher all the speakers are too loud and subwoofer just starts performing but thats too loud volume from soundbar and rear speakers, it feels like i wasted my money, and subwoofer do have great capacity i know that cause when we do ai calibration it checks subwoofer as well in higher volume level and its really pumping like movie theatre kinda experience but with all volume too loud on level of around 9-11 where subwoofer don't even show any signs of bass at that level it really sucks, hopefully they will make it work anyhow to perform subwoofer to its potential by allowing either by allowing separate volume for it or by reducing the the volume of sound bar to low even with higher volume upto 20-25 so that we can hear subwoofer performing as well. Please do something Thanks

Good but lacks instructions
Just got my S80 setup and everything is ok but there are no instructions on if you can adjust speakers individuallor not. LG lacks instructions and it hooks to their LGthinQ app and nothing works. LG support is crap.
