NOT SYNCING WITH SOUND BAR

I purchased this tv and everything seems decent, however I have a sound bar connected to it and need to reset the tv before I turn it off every time, so when I turn on again later they will be synced properly. If I don't reset prior to turning off or turning on the sound bar and tv are not working properly. I'm not sure what happened because it was working fine. My guess is that a software update ruined how the tv and sound bar are syncing.

Great Features
