So far as good- only had it a week. Surprisingly lightweight given the size of the screen and the sound is good via Wow Ochestra with my LG soundbar. Good picture via Film-maker mode with really solid black levels as you'd expect from OLED.

I have this setup in my basement media room and it looks amazing, particularly when you display 4K content. Apparently, in brighter rooms, it may not be the best choice but that wasn't a concern for me and I'm very happy with this TV. Always liked LG interface and it's even better than my old LG 65 inch.

great picture! I would prefer a hard copy of the user manual. It's easy to assemble the legs for the stand.. Impressive features but complex on screen start up would benefit from a manual.

Great TV, Auracast does not work unfortunately
This is a review for the LG OLED83B5 series TV. This television has a wonderful picture and when paired up with an external speaker or sound bar, leads to an exceptional entertainment experience. My wife loves the tv. I however, do have some complaints involving the new Auracast broadcast, as to which I’m hoping will be resolved in a future software update. For those of us who have hearing aids, Auracast will transmit the tv audio directly to your hearing aids phone app using Bluetooth technology. Unfortunately on this tv, after pairing the Auracast broadcast to my Jabra hearing aids app (EnhancePro), the tv remote functionality seized up, leaving on/off as the only button that worked. I tried turning it off & on, unplugging it, I even did a factory reset, but when I tried connecting to the Auracast broadcast, the tv froze up. There were some trial periods when the tv worked briefly but seized up again after stopping a video. I’m guessing that it’s a Bluetooth bug that hopefully can be resolved with a software fix. Another issue with Auracast on this tv is that there is no USER audio modulation adjustment. The audio transmission output is too high for my comfort level….I had to turn my hearing aid app’s adjustment all the way down and it still felt too loud for my comfort! Why is there NO user manual for this particular model on the LG website? You can download the quick setup guide and safety guide but no full user manual!

This is an awesome TV every bit of it. Earlier i was in doubt whether to go for C5 or B5. No doubt C5 is a more advanced version but LG have done a great jon on making B5 as well. A lot of power punched into it and I am loving every bit of my B5 83 inch.

New TV old software
Now that the TV is working it’s great. But it took me 4 hours to get non free to air services to be viewable. E.g. Watching Kayo golf - I couldn’t even see the ball. It was massively pixilated and distorted. I was so frustrated. The next day I was set to call LG and have them collect it when I thought - the only thing I have not tried is updating the TV software. That did the trick. But surely LG could either send a tv with current software or program the thing to download it automatically. It made me dread the thought of buying any other new piece of tech.

good for basement, for bright room C4 is better option but if you spend time in dark room C4 not wort it
