Smells good but messy

First I want to say this soap smells really nice, not too overpowering. On the other hand the pump gunks up so bad on a regular basis. I keep this in my powder rooms which gets used pretty regularly and the bottle has thick drips down the front. I have bronze faucet and the drain portion is covered in a white film. I wanted to love this soap but I just can't get over the side effects of it.
