Look elsewhere

these are the crappiest knives i have used possibly ever , blades are thin and flimsy , half of them had burrs on them , spend a few more dollars and research your purchase , you WILL hate these if you mess up and buy them

Beautiful, durable, useful!

This set has all the essentials. I do wish it had a bread knife (larger serrated knife) but for this price point you get a lot. The wood block is beautiful and the while set looks nice on a counter top. The knives are quality even though this is from Henckels lower brand level. We don't put them in the dishwasher, we wash by hand and dry right away...that keeps them sharp. They'd make a lovely, somewhat inexpensive gift!
