Poor quality fabric

I wanted to keep this dress. Fit beautifully in bodice and nice full skirt. But. The fabric was just too glitzy making it appear cheap. It was like that “mermaid” fabric they use on little girls’ swimsuits. Then sprinkled with glitter…which came off on everything! Definitely not a gown for a mother of the bride, which is what I was shopping for.

Small waist, limited availability

Gorgeous dress! Unfortunately, I thought it ran very small at the waist. I usually wear a size 10. The size 10 I tried was too small. I ordered it in a size 12, which was still too small. I would have tried a size 14, but it was not available. Given how narrow it was in the waist, I'm not sure that even two sizes larger would have given adequate room for my thick waist.
