Love my Samsung Appliances
Well let me say this, I absolutely love all my Samsung appliances! I have the Microwave, Gas Range, Dishwasher, and Refrigerator connected to Smartthings app and love being able to control everything from my phone! There is a learning curve because of all the features, but I’m looking forward to learning everything!

Air fryer temps. not customizable!
We have owned this Samsung Model: MC17T8000CS for over four years. At first impression I hoped that the multi features, microwave, convection oven, and air fry would fulfill some functional needs in our kitchen. For the most part the microwave is just that. The convection oven is for back-up for when we need another oven for holidays like Thankgiving, etc. The oven gets extremely hot. But the air fryer has left more to be desired. There are pre-set timings for specific frozen foods like french fries or chicken nuggets however there is no options for following recipes designed specifically for air fryer recipes. No way to adjust air fryer settings at all. No way to customize the temperatures for any type of air fryer recipes. Not having that option is very limiting. This was very disappointing since I have a very, very small kitchen with limited counter space. Because of that I have no room for extra appliances such as an independent air fryer to sit out all day long. If I had known the air fryer settings were not customizable I would have bought a different microwave. And, to top everything off, we cannot find out how to replace the interior light for the inside of the oven. It seems from what my boyfriend has told me. The whole unit has to be unmounted from the cabinets over the stove just to gain access to replace the burnt out interior light bulb. That is just crazy!

Order Samsung refrigerator that's a good product works fine I got a refrigerator for Samsung also awesome working machines products good to me I don't know about you but I like them

Dissatisfied
Two years into owning this microwave it stopped working. We had to take it completely apart and replace the magnitron-it took painstakingly long to troubleshoot what and how to fix it, but Samsung customer service is horrendous, and it was easier than dealing with the company. This microwave may be more esthetically pleasing than our old one, but what good are looks without function? Terrible buy, Samsung should stick to televisions.

Overall? It's fine.
I have owned this microwave for over 2 years now so I feel fairly qualified to make a review: It's a fine microwave. (Note: I am some who doesn't really use a microwave.) Our other microwave crapped out (a Samsung, came with the house) so I replaced it with one that would fit the mounting hardware already there. Also, I wanted to get rid of my air-fryer taking up space on the counter (more on that below) Pros: - It's works as it should, heats food - Convection oven works, the "Roast" function is kinda useless, but normal convection bake is great when you don't want to use your oven. - Smart App is awesome when making food in the morning. When the oven heats ups I can set the time before I jump in the shower from my bedroom (or while I am walking the dog!) and not worry about my morning frittatas being overcooked. Cons: - Defrost is totally useless. For meat, best to set to half the weight... it will still be stiff, but at least it's not cooked. They really need a firmware patch. The manual says to line your meat with strips of aluminum...oh yeah, I got time for that. The last Whirlpool I had was a champ at this.. from fillets to 5 lbs pork shoulders... everything defrosted perfectly. I miss that... but a water bath to defrost is pretty fast too. Weirdly, the "fish" defrost actually works well. - Slim Fry. SO DUMB. There are set things you can cook with it, all garbage food that no one out of college would eat. (potato skins?! Chicken nuggets?! (okay, if you have kids at home, might be good)) BUT As I said before, it's a decent convection oven and that's basically what "air fryer" is. So use the convection oven for your air fry needs. Is it as good as my Cuisinart Convection/Air Fryer? No, but it's 80% there and it's one less appliance I need. In conclusion: You get a microwave and a convection oven that hangs over your range freeing up valuable counter space. I am happy with it.

New microwave broke twice
New microwave didnt work and they sent. A replacement. It made a weird noise and now every other time makes a weird noise. I paid about 700 for this. Samsung is my go to and my entire kitchen and laundry, phones and TV are Samsung. This microwave is junk. Praying for support. On hold again

Great Product!
Love this microwave. It is very nice looking and cooks to perfection. There are so many functions I haven't even been able to use them all.
