MacDuggal Leena Purple Dress

I bought this dress and it is gorgeous! I wanted to wear it for a dance performance, so I embellished the dress with feathers and an applique! It turned out amazing! If you are 5’3” and under this dress is very long and definitely has to be hemmed.

I purchased a size 10. I normally purchase between a size 8 or 10 depending on material, cut, etc. The dress is 100% polyester so it has no stretch so I decided to get the larger of the two sizes and I’m glad I did. It fit perfectly for my hips but I had to take in the waistline and a little from the bust. I wore the dress at a military ball and received a lot of compliments.

Wore this to a Veterans ball. Ordered a size 6 but ended up sizing up to an 8. Didn’t have to alter it at all. Love the color and fit! Beautiful dress! For reference, I’m 5’5” 145lbs with an athletic build.

Definitely size down. I am usually an 8, I got a 6 and still need wait alterations. But other than that it’s a beautiful dress. I am 5’10 and wearing heels on photo.
