Poorly designed

Lets start with it sitting at an angle. Sitting at angle creates waste of plastic material requiring more plastic used to seal bags. Cutter location doesn't work well and cutter itself is poor at best. The FM2100 is a far cry better then this particular model. If it was availible at the time of purchase, i would had bought that on again

Complaints

Don’t like where the cutter is located, and the remote piece for sealing is annoying, as it never stays where it’s supposed too. With that said, I still have used 3 rolls of bags.

It works good as long as you apply pressure while it's working. Then you have to wait five minutes between sealings.

So easy I didn’t need instructions!

I purchased the FoodSaver® Premiere VS3130 just this week and since I have stored half a cow, 6 chickens, pork chops and ribs, etc. I should have purchased a more commercial kind but decided on this one and I’m not regretting one bit of it. I have never vacuum sealed before and was able to figure this out without using instructions. I am now cutting my own individual size bags and it’s working out great.

Junk

Did not work well, if at all, and was an immediate return. Could not seal the bags correctly and had to use the vacuum/seal function multiple times to get it to work. Atrociously bad vacuum ability, it barely removed air and was not worth the time. Do not buy this unit, it will cause freezer burn if you can get it to work.
