Works good.
This works so good and we use it for outside movies while swimming. We love using this when we have parties or just have people over. It's easy to use and performs so good. The picture and sound quality is amazing too.

It’s big but…
The machine itself is huge and gets really hot. Other than that it works well, has good sound output, and the performance is all around wonderful.

I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of my new TCL projector. The picture quality is fantastic. The colors are vibrant, the blacks are deep, and the overall image is sharp and detailed. Setup was a breeze, and the included remote is easy to navigate. I love that it automatically refocuses if it senses the screen isn't positioned how it should be. I've been using it for movie nights, gaming, and even streaming sports, and it consistently delivers a cinematic experience. The projector is also surprisingly quiet, which is a major plus. The only minor drawback I've found is that the brightness can be a bit of an issue in well-lit rooms, but that's to be expected with most projectors. Overall, I highly recommend the TCL projector to anyone looking for an affordable and enjoyable home theater solution

Favorite item all year!
The TCL A1 projector is our family’s #1 addition to our household this year. We have used this projector for so many occasions — from blockbuster hits, to big games, to holiday movie night and even everyday viewing. At home, we have it set up to project a 95” picture directly on our living room wall. The projector does an excellent job color correcting for our very lightly pink tinted paint color (Sherwin Williams intimate white) so we don’t even need a screen. Specs of the projector say it can project up to 120”. The projection is very sharp and the picture is bright even in daytime. The simple setup is a breeze. Connect to WiFi, run the auto-adjust, and you are ready to watch pretty much any media you want via apps. The built-in speaker is impressive and has depth. Many times I don’t even notice the difference between the built in speaker and connecting to an external soundbar. The projector’s handle slides down through the body of the projector to create an adjustable stand. The auto keystone adjustment does a great job creating a perfectly rectangular image even with the projector slanted on the table. I have two very minor critiques, neither of which are actually with the projector itself. First, I wish the clasp mechanism on the carrying case was was better because it can be finicky. Second, in a dream scenario, I would prefer a Bluetooth remote over the included IR so you don’t have to have the remote in a sight line to the projector to operate. These are such minor details that don’t detract from how much our family loves and uses the A1.

Exceeded my expectations
The projector is relatively quiet and produces video quality that resembles that of regular tv. We tested this on a table in front of our projector screen but did not install from the ceiling so cannot say how easy it would be to install. It is very portable and the carrying case that it comes in seems very sturdy. The audio from the projector itself is loud enough if nearby/quiet. Netflix worked easily with no delay. Connected/set up quickly via Google account.

Amazing projector!!!! Clear picture!
This projector is amazing! It can self adjust so you don’t have to bother with adjusting the picture. We were able to connect all our streaming apps and was easy to use! The remote is also simple to use! We loved the picture, it was great quality and sound is clear and loud too!
