From #1 New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout comes a new novel in her Blood and Ash series... Is Love Stronger Than Vengeance? A Betrayal... Everything Poppy has ever believed in is a lie, including the man she was falling in love with. Thrust among those who see her as a symbol of a monstrous kingdom, she barely knows who she is without the veil of the Maiden. But what she does know is that nothing is as dangerous to her as him. The Dark One. The Prince of Atlantia. He wants her to fight him, and that's one order she's more than happy to obey. He may have taken her, but he will never have her. A Choice.... Casteel Da'Neer is known by many names and many faces. His lies are as seductive as his touch. His truths as sensual as his bite. Poppy knows better than to trust him. He needs her alive, healthy, and whole to achieve his goals. But he's the only way for her to get what she wants-to find her brother Ian and see for herself if he has become a soulless Ascended. Working with Casteel instead of against him presents its own risks. He still tempts her with every breath, offering up all she's ever wanted. Casteel has plans for her. Ones that could expose her to unimaginable pleasure and unfathomable pain.

Faster paced than From Blood and Ash. Between the two this is my favorite so far!

Great follow up to first book

The sequel to “From Blood and Ash”, didn’t disappoint. The story picks up right after the ending of the first book. I was at the edge of my seat waiting to see what would unfold in the following events from the first book, and how Poppy would go about navigating new secrets, and truths. Of course you can’t forget the romance the brews between the main characters, and I loved how the growth between the two was heartfelt. Once again, 10 out of 10, highly recommended, and can’t wait to read the next book in this fantastic series.

Favorite of the series so far!

KOFAF is my favorite of the three books out. We get to learn more about the world and the main character. Poppy really starts to come into her own and I loved watching her blossom into the strong female character that I've always wanted in a heroine. The twists are more extreme than the first book and I could barely put it down after the first 20 pages.

Even Better than the First!

I really didn't think Jennifer L. Armentrout could top From Blood and Ash but I was happily mistaken -- A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire is even better than the first book and I'm officially obsessed. This series just keeps building and getting bigger and better -- I loved seeing more of the world, learning even more about the characters, and seeing the romantic relationship between Poppy and Casteel.develop!.
