a poem for every day!

A Whale of a Time is such a wonderful anthology of poetry by many authors you are likely very familiar with already! Paired with such fun and vibrant illustrations, this book is such a statement on my shelves too. I gift this to everyone with young ones because it is the coffee-table-book of children's poetry, if you will. So even if you can't stick with it day after day as intended, it pulls you back in eventually to casually browse through over time. I personally love that it has a poem for every day of the year, as it allows me some kind of routine in everyone looking forward to the next one day after day.
