Non stick coating came off

Rug definitely stays in place with non-slip backing....but the non-slip came off and left a sticky residue on my entryway tile. Probably does not help that my big dog likes to lay on rug, but I somehow think that would eventually happen with regular foot traffic over time. I'm washing it and then donating as it doesn't work for me.
