Room Sized Rug Return

TOTAL FIASCO! My home is 'For Sale' so I needed a 10X14' rug asap. After waiting FIVE days for delivery, I checked and it had not even left yet. I tried to cancel the order since I ordered another rug that came immediately. I was told this huge rug now 'had to be delivered' but I could refuse it when it arrived. I put a large note on the door but of course it was still left. Don't worry, they said. Just drop it off at UPS and it won't cost you a cent. It's easy they said. So, despite the size and weight of this rug, I hauled it to UPS today. Since I never even opened it, it still had all the tags and return addresses on it. The UPS clerk insisted that I had to purchase a $20 box for it and $2.50 for tape in order to return it. I insisted that it had been delivered to me like it was and he told me I could take it back home if I didn't want to purchase the box. Since I could barely move it, I paid the $22.50 and left. My advice, no large items from Macys...
