Hello, I am filing a formal complaint regarding the Adidas baby clothing item I purchased. After my baby wore it for a very short time, the fabric dye transferred extensively onto the baby’s skin. This is not only a product defect but also a potential health hazard for an infant, as shown in the attached photos. Under U.S. consumer protection laws — including the Consumer Product Safety Act (CPSA) and the Federal Trade Commission Act (FTC Act) — retailers are strictly prohibited from selling products that may create risk of harm, especially to children. Any product that poses a potential safety hazard must be refunded, replaced, or removed from sale. Because this product caused direct harm to my baby’s skin, I am requesting a full refund immediately in accordance with my rights protected under these laws. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate the complaint to: • The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) • The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) • And the Better Business Bureau (BBB) if necessary. I expect a timely response and a full refund. Thank you.
