Please remake these

I bought these and tailored them shorter to make them 8” shorts. 10” shorts is over the top too long. Also they are too wide. I’m not into the slim fit look but these are slightly too wide. Lastly, the waistband is extremely tight and I’m a slim fit guy. I often don’t want to wear these shorts due to knowing I will feel uncomfortable bc of how tight the waistband is. These shorts could be perfect if you were to design a pair that are at the 8” level, a looser waistband and slightly less wide. It’s mind boggling to me how you can design a pair of shorts with such a tight waistband to only have the shorts flare out as they do. These are essentially built for bigger men yet the waistband is absurdly tight. Never understood the need for such a tight waistband when there are drawstrings.
