You can carry your cellphone on either leg.

I like to be able to carry my cellphone during my workouts. The big pockets allow me to carry gummies and gel during my long runs.

Overall, these shorts are fantastic, delivering on comfort and quality. However, potential buyers should note that they lack zippered pockets (as detailed in the product description) and do not feature a traditional drawstring. They also run slightly snug, so if you prefer a looser fit, you might want to size up. Minor fit and feature points aside, every other aspect of the design is excellent
