Awkward Drape

I ordered this for a June wedding and really wanted to like this. This dress fit well across the bodice and had a flattering cut along the shoulders. It is nicely constructed and the fabric is quite pretty. The fabric is otherwise quite heavy and it seems stiff, so the skirt flares out and has minimal movement. I thought it could shorten it a bit but instead decided to return it as I believe I want something lighter weight.
